Actor Varun Tej is all set to team up with director Krish aka Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi for his next movie titled “Rayabhari”, which will be their second combo movie after the hit film “Kanche”.

Varun Tej, who is the son of Chiranjeevi’s brother Nagababu, turned 26 on 19 January. On his 26th birthday, the young scion from the mega family announced his next project on his Twitter page. He tweeted, “#Rayabhari is the next!!.. Excited to be working with our fantabulous #kanche team yet again..@DirKrish @FirstFrame_”

It was Krish Jagarlamudi, who first addressed Varun Tej on 18 January and wished him in advance. The director tweeted, “‘రాయబారి’కి జన్మదిన శుభాకాంక్షలు ✨ (sic)” (Happy Birthday to Rayabhari). A day later, Varun Tej replied to him and wrote, “Thanks captain!..looking forward for #Rayabhari..”

Thousands of film goers wished Varun Tej on his 26th birthday. Many celebs from the industry also showered wishes upon him. The thrilled young actor thanked everyone. He tweeted, “It’s been an overwhelming day to receive the love and affection shown by you guys…Thanks a lot for all the wishes.”

Varun Tej made his acting debut with “Mukunda”, which was released in theatres in 2014 and became hit at the box office. His second film “Kanche” was not only a big hit at the box office, but gave him a chance to prove his mettle. He tried his hand with a mass role in Puri Jagannath’s “Loafer”, which turned out to be average grosser at the box office.

Varun Tej has also signed two films – one with director Gopichand Malineni and other with Dil Raju, whose film has been titled “Feel My Love” and is directed by Venky Atluri. Reports suggest that the actor will shoot simultaneously for “Rayabhari” and Gopichand Malineni’s project.
