Thursday’s episode of “Scandal,” titled “The Miseducation of Susan Ross,” will see Olivia getting damaging information about one of the presidential candidates.

The promo for the episode hints it’s Susan Ross whose secret will threaten to damage her prospect as a presidential candidate, and this will prompt Olivia to put her team of gladiators to investigate the authenticity of the secret that is expected to destroy the vice-president.

“She’s not just a liar, she’s a thief unfit to be president,” Quinn says in the promo video.

Susan has a lot on her plate right now, considering she just found out David was cheating on her. Susan found out about David’s infidelity just as he had made up his mind to stay with her and ditch his lover. Susan hasn’t found out Elizabeth was the “other woman” in the relationship, but it shouldn’t take long for that secret to come out.

Although she is still not over the betrayal, Susan does not want the public to know she is no longer with David. Relationship is a sign of stability, and she wants David to carry on the charade of being in a relationship with her. In the promo, she says announcing the truth is not going to help her.

“You know what people will understand when they hear that? That the person in the relationship with a penis, that’s you, cheated on the person in the relationship without one, that’s me. And that we are looking for away out that doesn’t make me look bad,” she says. “I don’t want to fake it anymore either, but there is no version of us breaking up that looks good for me. Unless you’re willing to say that I left you because you’re an impotent alcoholic who hates kids, and dogs and God. Are you willing to say that?”

The official synopsis for “The Miseducation of Susan Ross” reads:

Following the first Republican debate, Olivia is presented with damaging information about an opponent and enlists the Gladiators to verify its authenticity. Meanwhile, David deals with fallout from his dating life, and Cyrus continues to work on his own political agenda.

“Scandal” airs Thursdays 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
