The telecast rights of the audio launch of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming movie “Sardaar Gabbar Singh” (SGS) has reportedly fetched a fancy price. If he accepts this offer, the movie will equal the record of SS Rajamouli’s “Baahubali: The Beginning.”

“Sardaar Gabbar Singh” is one of the most awaited Telugu movies of 2016. Its makers have planned to launch its music March 20 and release the film April 8. Mega family fans are eagerly awaiting the release of its audio album, which has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Its will be released at an event in Hyderabad or Amaravati.

Unlike other big Tollywood stars, Pawan Kalyan is not very fond of holding grand events for the audio release of his films. He has reportedly expressed displeasure at such events a few times in the past, and is said to be not too keen on a grand audio launch for “Sardaar Gabbar Singh.”

But after seeing the huge hype surrounding “Sardaar Gabbar Singh,” some media houses have been eyeing the rights for audio launch event. However, a leading Telugu TV channel has offered bumper price for its rights: Its bosses have quoted Rs 1.5 crore for the rights, reports 123Telugu.

The telecast rights of the audio launch of “Baahubali: The Beginning” were sold for a whopping price back in May 2015. Leading Telugu news channel TV 5 had bagged the rights for Rs 1.5 crore, which was a record price in the history of Telugu Cinema, according to India Glitz.

“Sardaar Gabbar Singh” is produced by Pawan Kalyan, Sharrath Marar and Sunil Lulla under the banners Pawan Kalyan Creative Works, Northstar Entertainment Pvt Ltd and Eros International. The producers are reportedly yet to take a call on the offer.
