After Malayalam actor Neeraj Madhav, superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran has also denied rumours about him endorsing a particular political party for the upcoming Assembly Elections 2016 in Kerala.

Even though Prithviraj has admitted to having a clear perspective on the political scenario of the society, he has claimed that the piece of information about his involvement in election campaigning (for Bharatiya Janata Party) is the creation of some “closet geniuses,” who believe in having the freedom to use other person’s name for their own convenience just because they remain anonymous.

“Hi all, For the past few days, I’ve been seeing “statements” apparently put out by me, endorsing various political parties leading up to the impending elections. Although I do have my own clear perspective on our socio-political scenario, I would like to put it out that none of these have actually been said by me..and they belong to some closet genius/geniuses who think online anonymity is a license to use anybody’s name for any propaganda that suits their convenience. Hope this puts all rumour mills to rest! [sic],” Prithviraj posted on his Facebook page.

The “Darvinte Parinamam” actor has also requested every citizen to exercise their right to choose the representatives by casting their vote. “And yes..exercise your right to choose..make your vote count! Let’s keep the world’s largest democratic machinery ticking! [sic],” the actor added. The Kerala Assembly Elections will be held May 16, 2016, to elect members of the 140 constituencies.

Similarly, actor Neeraj Madhav was also in the news for allegedly campaigning for the Narendra Modi-led BJP. The “Adi Kapyare Kootamani” star has dismissed the rumours about him endorsing any political party and claimed that he doesn’t have any intention to get involved in election campaigning. “I have strictly no intentions to be involved in any sort of political campaigning and neither do I support any parties,” Neeraj posted on his Facebook page.

Meanwhile, on the acting front, Prithviraj, who was last seen in Jijo Antony’s “Darvinte Parinamam,” is awaiting the release of Sujith Vaassudev’s family entertainer “James and Alice” that is scheduled to hit screens April 29. The actor has a handful of projects in his kitty including James Kottakal’s “Beautiful Game,” Pradeep M Nair’s “Vimaanam,” Rosshan Andrews’ “Naale Ravile,” RS Vimal’s “Karnan,” Jinu Abraham’s “Adam,” Blessy’s “Aadujeevitham” and epic drama “Kunchirakkottu Kaali” in his kitty.
