Arjun Bijlani, Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan’s supernatural show “Naagin,” which has been ruling the Television Rating Points (TRP) charts since it went on air, is likely to air its last episode on April 30.

While it was reported earlier that the supernatural show will end On a happy note with both Shivanya (Mouni Roy) and Rithik (Arjun Bijlani) reuniting in the final episode, the latest report suggests that the makers have decided to change the concluding episode of the season. Both the protagonists – Shivanya and Rithik – will die on the show, SpotboyE reports.

Even as the viewers might be disappointed with the change in the story, the report said that the lead pair Shivanya and Rithik will reincarnate in the second season. As for Sesha (Adaa), she will survive to witness the rebirth of Shivanya and Rithik. Also, Yamini (Sudha Chandran) will continue with her stint in the second instalment as well.

“Variations of the last episode were written – one with a happy ending and some others with different ends. But Ekta is known to turn the story around at the last minute. She decided that Ritik and Shivanya should be killed in the concluding episode to get the shock value,” a source told SpotboyE.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that in the upcoming episodes, Rithik will witness his father getting killed by his wife Shivanya. Horrified to see Shivanya in a naagin avatar, Rithik will break all ties with his beloved wife. Not just that, a furious Rithik will try to kill his wife but will not be able to do so. Seeing Rithik unable to kill her, Yamini will take it upon herself and stab Shivanya in front of Rithik.
