Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are rumoured to be dating each other, but the duo never admitted it in public. However, the “Bajirao Mastani” actor is apparently willing to make their rumoured relationship official now.

Ranveer and Deepika have won the Best Jodi award at the recently held TOIFA 2016 at Dubai. As Deepika is busy with the shooting of her debut Hollywood movie “XXX: The Return of Xander Cage,” Ranveer had to receive the award alone.

Deepika’s rumoured boyfriend made a speech after receiving the award, during which he called the actress his “better half” and added that he can achieve everything in life if Deepika is with him, Bombay Times reported. Ranveer and Deepika have been expressing their fondness for each other with series of PDA. However, earlier it was reported that Deepika has been silent on her rumoured affair with Ranveer due to her past relationship experience with Ranbir Kapoor.

“It is unlikely she will come out to acknowledge the relationship in public in the near future. The last time she was very open about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor and she regrets that. She doesn’t want that kind of attention on her personal life again,” DNA had quoted a source as saying.

“To be fair, she has always been there for Ranveer, when he was down with dengue or when she joined him during the shooting of ‘Dil Dhadakne Do.’ Also, in her own way, she is not hiding her relationship. She put up a picture of Ranveer shaving his face after ‘Bajirao Mastani;’ that is strictly a girlfriend’s prerogative. She would not openly bond with his family with cameras all around her during an award function. So, while she might not say it in so many words, her actions say it all,” the source further added. The report had also quoted a different source who said that both Ranveer and Deepika’s parents have given their approval to the relationship.
