Actress Nyra Banerjee is all set to make her Bollywood debut in the upcoming movie “One Night Stand” that also features Sunny Leone and Tanuj Virwani. Nyra will be seen playing the character of Simran, wife of Tanuj’s character in the movie.

Directed by Jasmine D’Souza, “One Night Stand” will focus on the repercussions that one night stands can have on the concerned people and their lives. The movie is based on a bold concept and the trailer suggested that the film will have a number of bold scenes too.

In an exclusive interview with International Business Times, India, Nyra has talked about her fondness for superstar Salman Khan, her opinion on one night stands, her experience of working with Sunny Leone and a lot more. Here are the excerpts from the interview:

International Business Times: You are about to make your Bollywood debut with the movie “One Night Stand.” How was the overall experience shooting for the film? Is there any interesting incident from the sets that you would like to share?

Banerjee: Yes ! I am thoroughly excited about my big bolly launch! The film’s content is interesting and controversial because of its conflicts. The journey from auditioning to signing to workshops and to shoot was a glorious one. Interesting incidents and memories were many. The most interesting for me was the crew used to secretly stack a lot of sugar goodies for me.

IBT: The movie is about a one night stand and its repercussions. What is your personal opinion on one night stands in general? Are you in favour of it? Please back your reply with reasons.

Banerjee: Well! One night stand, which means associating with an unknown just for a night, sounds scary to me. More than my impulsive urges, I am much too wary about its negative consequences.

IBT: Tell us something about your role in the film and what made you choose it as your debut?

Banerjee: I was auditioning for a couple of films and got selected in quite a few. “One Night Stand” materialised immediately. I am glad I play a woman of substance.

IBT: Sunny Leone is currently one of the hottest Bollywood actresses. Do you feel she will overshadow you in the movie?

Banerjee: Every woman has her own charm! I am lucky to be paired with a hot star! This film is about the individual reactions and responses of two woman regarding a common threat that fate binds them in.

IBT: The trailer of “One Night Stand” suggests that you might not have as many intimate scenes as Sunny might in the film. Are you comfortable getting intimate on-screen if the script demands?

Banerjee: Well, you have to see the film to know my role in depth. About being comfortable, I need to be well convinced first.

IBT: Tell us something about your future projects after “One Night Stand.”

Banerjee: I have signed two other films and I am waiting for the makers to announce them.

IBT: Sunny will be seen in a dance sequence with Shah Rukh Khan in “Raees.” If given an opportunity, which Khan (Salman, Shah Rukh or Aamir) will you like to work with and why?

Banerjee: Salman Khan!!! I love him, I would kill to do a film or a dance number, or share screen space with him.

IBT: Who are your favourite Bollywood actor and actress, and what do you like the most about them?

Banerjee: I like Salman’s incredible good looks , Kareena’s charisma and Sonakshi’s ethnic charm.

IBT: What do you have to say about the prevalence of casting couch in Bollywood and the glamour industry? Have you ever experienced such an incident?

Banerjee: So far inexperienced, hence can’t comment.

IBT: You are a trained dancer and singer. Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and Shraddha Kapoor have tried their hands at singing. Who, according to you, is the best singer among these Bollywood actresses?

Banerjee: I think Priyanka Chopra has terrific sensibilities to both Indian and Western music.
