From gorging on delicacies to playing loud Bollywood numbers, and yes, even reading, television celebrities are planning to celebrate Holi in their own fun way. Here is what lies ahead on the occasion for some of them:

Arjun Bijlani: This Holi is special for the “Naagin” actor as it’s the first for his son Ayaan. “My wife Neha and I are very excited,” he told Hindustan Times. “We will not play with water or any dangerous colours. Holi reminds me of sweets, and I love eating sweets which I will have to refrain from this time, because I am on a diet.”

Divyanka Tripathi: The “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein” actress will take a break from work. She is planning to spend time with her family and close friends.

Rubina Dilaik: “It is the festival of colors and I love to gorge on homemade food, including some street food,” the actress told the Times of India. “A good music system is essential to blare Bollywood numbers. I love to play Holi with my friends and we click a lot of pictures. I love using different colors as I want my life to be all colorful.”

Niti Taylor: The “Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan” actress celebrates Holi by applying colors and splashing water on others. Niti, however, makes sure she plays safe and eco-friendly Holi, the Times of India reported.

Pearl V Puri: Pearl seeks blessings from his parents and relishes the delicacies prepared during the festival.

Manish Goplani: The actor, who plays the role of Bihaan in “Thapki Pyar Ki,” loves to savor good food during the festival.

Mouni Roy: “As a rule I don’t play Holi since childhood. I just take a shower in the morning, offer pooja, eat a lot of delicacies and lock myself in a room with good books,” the actress told DNA. “But for those who will play Holi, I would urge them to use eco-friendly colours and have a dry Holi. We waste too much water during this festival every single year and now it is all the more important that it should be avoided.”

Tinaa Datta: The “Khatron Ke Khiladi 7” actress will avoid playing Holi with water this year, reported DNA. Besides playing with colors, the actress also plans to enjoy a lot of delicacies.

Karan Kundra: It’s not the question of Maharashtra suffering a drought. Even if we were not, water should not be wasted,” the actor told DNA. “During Holi, the colours get mixed with water, run into the drainage system and finally, into the ocean. Apart from water wastage, a lot of plants, animals and ocean life dies. As it is, we are polluting our environment in the worst possible way, why add to it? I understand Holi is a festival of colours — so why not use eco-friendly colours that don’t harm others. The dogs, cats and birds with whom we share our city go through a lot of difficulty, but don’t have a voice. So, all I would say is, play Holi responsibly and have fun,” he said.
