Warning: This article contains spoilers for “Game of Thrones” Season 6

Jon Snow’s fate was finally revealed on episode 2 of “Game of Thrones” Season 6 when The Red Woman, Melisandre, used her magic and brought him back to life. The scene, though quite impactful, was hardly a surprise as it was the most popular fan theory around Jon Snow’s resurrection. What lies ahead for the character is what is of more interest to fans now and actor Kit Harington calls it his “biggest season ever.”

The actor told Entertainment Weekly that keeping his role a secret was particularly challenging because he spent more days on sets than ever before, and more days than any other Thrones actor this year.

“It’s a massive season for him, it’s the biggest season for him so far, he features very prominently this season,” Harington said. “I was told that, when I was told I was coming back – that the season I was coming back for would be my biggest, and that’s quite a lot to take as well.”

Elaborating on how he and the team managed to keep Jon Snow’s fate a big secret, Harington revealed that the character became “he who cannot be named” on sets. Snow wasn’t mentioned in the scene breakdowns, call sheets, prop or wardrobe materials either.

Instead, showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss gave the character a new name of LC, standing for Lord Commander. “No one was allowed to say ‘Jon Snow’ on set, ever, everyone had to refer to me as ‘LC,'” Harington confirmed to EW.

“Game of Thrones” Season 6 airs in the U.S. on Sundays, on HBO and on Mondays in India – on HBO Hits and Star World Premiere.
