Salman Khan’s recent blockbuster “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” had taken the box office by storm with record breaking collection and the movie had also impressed critics. However, the Kabir Khan directorial could bag just one award at the 61st Britannia Filmfare Awards and that shocked fans of Salman.
“Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, which is considered to be one of the best films of Salman till date, received an award in the “best story” category. The story of “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” was written by Vijayendra Prasad, who also is the writer of “Baahubali”.
“Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, starring Salman, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Harshaali Malhotra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, holds the record of being the only Bollywood movie of 2015 to have grossed Rs 300 crore net at the domestic market.
While Ranveer Singh-starrer “Bajirao Mastani” claimed the maximum number of awards, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” getting just one award made Salman’s fans question the credibility of Filmfare Awards. Fans on Twitter have been expressing their annoyance and some of them even called the decision biased.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan its best film of 2016, touched hearts of millions. Filmfare has lost credibility this way by not giving enough awards ???

Fake awards doesn’t take away the brilliance of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. There’s no doubt that it’s the best film of the year.
