Canadian rapper Drake has been in news quite often for the past few months, sometimes for courting controversy and at other times for dropping fabulous music. But guess what? All of this is related to his upcoming fourth studio album, “Views From The 6.”

After releasing the album’s lead single, “Summer Sixteen,” in January and two back-to-back singles, “Pop Style” and “One Dance,” last week, Drake recently released a trailer on his Twitter profile to announce that the album is ready to be out April 29, 2016. The record, which was announced as far back as 2014, will be available for download on iTunes and also on streaming services like Apple Music and Spotify.

If the already-released singles are taken into consideration, the record will be in classic Drake-style with elements of RnB, rap and hip hop blended with lush melodies and emotional lyrics.

“Views From The 6” will see Drake collaborating with Jay Z, Kanye West, Wiz Kid, Kyla and Noah “40” Shebib. Possibilities of collaborations with Beyonce, Timberland and Willow Smith are already exciting fans.

Last year we saw the rapper release two successful mixtapes , “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late” and “What a Time to be Alive,” the latter featuring Future. He also released seven singles in 2015, out of which “Hotline Bling,” “Charged Up,” Back To Back” and “Right Hand,” all of which are fresh singles that do not belong to any album. So will these songs be included in the album? Mark April 29 on your calendars to find out.
